Google posts Android 4.2.1 factory images for Nexus 4, 7, and 10 — Galaxy Nexus too

November has been a rather busy month for Google. After rolling out the Android 4.2.1 software update to the trio of Nexus devices – the Nexus 4, 7 and 10 – earlier in the week, the software giant then pushed out the same Jelly Bean update to the GSM Galaxy Nexus.

Now, you can find the Android 4.2.1 factory images or stock ROMs for all of the devices above on Google’s website.

If, for whatever reason, you haven’t gotten the latest Jelly Bean update on your Nexus device, or if you simply want to start anew, you don’t have to worry about not sporting the latest Android build on your phones and tablets, by making use of the factory images. They will also come in handy if you run into problem when tinkering the device.

In case you missed it, Google has also pushed the latest version of Android to AOSP. Still missing from the list is the Nexus 4, but it’s not really a surprise. The flagship phone reportedly won’t be added to the AOSP family anytime soon, so for now there’ll be no shared binaries and source files.
