For those of you that are looking for something more portable than a full 10-inch tablet but with more screen space than a 7-incher, a device like the LG G Pad 8.3 can certainly give you the best of both worlds. Of course it’s also a little on the pricey side at $350.

The good news is that Newegg is currently offering the tablet for sale at just $279.99. Even better news, the item eligible for a $30 discount when you enter the code “FWPD213B”, bringing the total price to just $249.99.

For $250, the G Pad is a heck of a deal if you’re looking for more screen space and it’s also quite powerful thanks to the Snapdragon 600 CPU and accompanying 2GB of RAM. Other specs include an 8.3-inch display with a 1920×1200 resolution, a 5MP main cam, 1.3MP front cam and a 4600 mAh battery.

It’s important to note, however, that this is the standard version, and therefore includes LG’s custom software versus the pure Android KitKat experience that you’d get from the Google Play Edition of the LG G Pad 8.3. Still, if you don’t mind LG’s customizations and are looking for a solid deal, this good be the perfect device for you.
