While Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is Google’s latest Android OS version that customers want, there are plenty of devices out there that are yet to make the jump to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. One such device is Samsung’s first-generation phablet, the original Galaxy Note.
Sam Mobile now reports that the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean build version N7000XXLS2 has been leaked and can be installed on the Galaxy Note by users that aren’t happy with waiting for Samsung and its carrier partners to release the real deal.
In case this is all too familiar, that’s because Samsung has leaked a variety of Jelly Bean ROMs for the Galaxy S3 before starting the Android 4.1.1 upgrade rollout. We speculated at that time that Samsung is using these leaks so that users can help test the Jelly Bean ROMs out in day-to-day situations, and that may be the case with these Galaxy Note Jelly Bean leaks too.
This ROM version doesn’t include the Multi-View feature, but the publication reports that Samsung is currently working on version N7000XXLS3 that will include the feature.
An actual release date for the official Galaxy Note Jelly Been build is not available at this time.
