Galaxy Note CyanogenMod 10 (Jelly Bean) preview now available

Stop me if you heard this before: a CyanogenMod 10 preview is available for a hot Android device. We have already shown you CM10 running on very popular devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S3, the Galaxy S2, and the Google Nexus 7, so we’re not surprised to hear that Android devs managed to make CM10 run on the Galaxy Note.

The Samsung phablet, which is yet to receive it’s official Jelly Bean upgrade, can now run a CM10 preview build, although you should know this ROM is “nowhere near ready to be used as a daily driver (lots of features still have to be merged), as xda-developers points out.

On that note, pun intended, we’ll remind you that we’re not encouraging you to run unofficial software on any of your Android devices, CyanogenMod included, no matter how cool they are. It’s your responsibility to perform such procedures, but if you do decide to install CM10 on your Galaxy Note N7000 make sure you follow the available instructions and backup your sensitive data first.

And let us know how CM10 performs on your phablet!
