Galaxy Note 10.1 root instructions available already

Samsung has re-announced the Galaxy Note 10.1 this week, a 10.1-inch tablet that was initially unveiled at MWC 2012, but suffered certain modifications since being shown first.

The tablet will soon be available in various markets, with certain third-party retailers already offering the device for pre-order.

But even if the Galaxy Note 10.1 is not widely available already, that doesn’t mean it can’t be rooted. In fact, the first Galaxy Note 10.1 root has already been achieved and there are instructions available for anyone interested in the procedure, even if you don’t own the device yet:

This root method will give you “root” on your Galaxy Note 10.1 and you will still be able to get OTA updates after rooting. The root method works by injecting root to an official Samsung firmware, meaning it will also not increase binary count so you will be able to fully unroot easily (actually just one click in SuperSU app) and return for warranty.

As shown on Google+, and then described on RootGalaxyNote, the root procedure for the Galaxy Note 10.1 seems quite simple and you shouldn’t have any problems performing it on your device. This doesn’t mean we’re encouraging you to root your Android smartphone or tablet, because we don’t. In fact, whatever you decided to put your device through, you’re going to be the only person responsible for the outcome, so handle everything with care.

But in case you go for the root, let us know how it all went!
