FCC listing hints LG G Pad 8.3 may be on its way to Verizon

Last week @evleaks tweeted that the LG G Pad would be making its way over to Verizon Wireless, and now some new evidence has shown up further backing the claim.

The LG-VK810 has surfaced in an official FCC filling, packing the same exact dimensions as the LG G Pad and sporting LTE support on Bands 4 and 13. For those that don’t know, these are frequences currently in use by Big Red.

While the filing doesn’t specifically call this out as the LG G Pad 8.3, it’s pretty obvious that we are looking at the LTE version of the G Pad. Aside from support for Verizon’s network, we’d expect the LG-VK810 to pack the same specs as the non-LTE version.

As a refresher, that means a Snapdragon 600 CPU, an 8.3-inch display with a1920x1200 resolution, 2GB RAM, 5MP rear cam, 1.3MP front cam, and 4,600 mAh battery. Now keep in mind that neither Verizon nor LG has confirmed if or when the LG G Pad, so speculation is still advised.

In the meantime, be sure to check out our full review of the LG G Pad (non-LTE) to get a better idea of what to expect from the tablet if/when it arrives to Verizon.

Anyone out there interested in picking the G Pad up from Big Red if it really is on its way to their network?
