Verizon is currently running a promotion to loop more users into taking advantage of Android Pay, the smartphone payment system. In return, they’re willing to throw in up to 2 GB of free data, redeemable over the course of two billing cycles.

The way that the offer works is this. Starting today, all you have to do is download the app and use it to pay anywhere that it’s accepted to get your first gig of data on the house. Once you hit your third use, Verizon will throw in an additional gig, once again at your disposal for the next two months. The company has compiled a brief list of places that are noted for their Android Pay compatibility including Macy’s, Peet’s Coffee, Subway, Trader Joe’s, Walgreens, Whole Foods, and others.

This offer is only available until June 16, 2016, and only applies to subscribers with the Verizon Plan or the More Everything plan in the US. Somewhat enigmatically, Verizon has tagged this promotional handout as “while supplies last,” emphasizing that “quantities are limited.” In most cases, this kind of fine text wording is reserved for use when a finite quantity of physical products are available for sale, but seeing as we’re talking about data here, it’s a bit unusual.

Anyway, to snag your free data, just click the button below to grab Android Pay and get started purchasing. Leave us your thoughts regarding this promotional offer in the comments below, and as always, stay tuned to Android Authority for all the latest deals on the services you use on the regular!
