Deal: Save up to $150 on the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact at eBay and Best Buy

Even though Sony’s flagships haven’t set the world on fire for quite some time now, the Japanese electronics giant has always excelled at offering top-spec smartphones in a smaller form factor.

This trend continued with the Xperia XZ1 Compact, which launched at IFA earlier this year and hit US shelves in early October priced at $600. While that’s a reasonable asking price for a miniaturized flagship that matches its slightly larger sibling where it counts and runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, if you act fast you can pick one up with a hefty saving.

eBay seller “qd_us” is currently offering the international model of the Xperia XZ1 Compact for just $449. While the listing initially shows the price at $499, if you apply the code “PSHOPEARLY” at checkout you should see the saving.

Alternatively, if you’d prefer to steer clear of eBay entirely, you can pick the device up from Best Buy for $499 with a $50 gift card. Either way, you’ll be buying an unlocked device that is compatible with GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile in the US.

Both retailers are offering the device in Black, Lagoon Blue, White Silver, or Twilight Pink color options, although the eBay seller is currently listing the Black and White Silver models as out of stock.

As a refresher, the Xperia XZ1 Compact sports a 4.6-inch 720p display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor. It also packs 4 GB of RAM, a 19 MP “Motion Eye” camera, an IP68 rating, and a 2,700 mAh battery. You can find out more about the handset’s specs here.

If you’ve been waiting for a price drop on this pint-sized powerhouse, now would be a great time to pick one up from either retailer using the buttons below.
