honor 5x deal

The race to the bottom may be hurting Android manufacturers, but let’s face it, all that customers care about is a good deal. And that’s exactly what customers are getting with the Honor 5X promo available today on Amazon.

The Honor 5X’s list price was already enticing at $200. The current promo shaves $40 off the price of the gold version, making it an excellent choice for anyone who values a nice design and a low price.

Unlike other budget phones, the Honor 5X features a nice big Full HD screen of 5.5 inches. The Snapdragon 616 processor is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. This is a dual-SIM device, but one of the rare models that doesn’t use a hybrid tray, meaning you can actually use two SIM cards and a microSD card of up to 128GB at the same time.

The 13MP camera, with an f 2.0 28 mm wide-angle lens and a multitude of software modes, is above par too. The battery is an excellent 3000 mAh. But the features that really make the Honor 5X stand out in the budget crowd are the fingerprint reader (unlock the device in 0.5 seconds) and the brushed aluminum build.

This is a GSM device, compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile. Sprint and Verizon customers will have to look somewhere else.

Only the gold version is discounted to $159.99, a 20 percent saving.

While this doesn’t appear to be a time-limited deal, we recommend taking advantage of it sooner, rather than later. Happy shopping!
