Fresh off of taking over almost every type of gadget in sight at CES 2018, there’s no better time to take the plunge and bring Google Assistant into your home with a smart speaker.
While Google’s own Home family is still arguably the best of the bunch, if Google’s smart speakers don’t take your fancy there are plenty of other Assistant-powered options coming to market in the near future.
For now, one of the best alternatives is JBL’s Link speakers, which, for a limited time, are available from select US retailers with a $50 discount. The offer is available at B&H, Best Buy, Newegg, and Verizon.
The smallest and cheapest of the bunch, the Link 10, drops from $150 to $100, while the taller Link 20 is priced at $150 (was $200). Both speakers have built-in Google Assistant functionality, 24 bit/96kHz high–quality sound, support for Google Cast and Bluetooth streaming, and are waterproofed with a IPX7 rating.
At the more premium end, the chunkier Link 300 drops down to $200 from $250 and offers better quality audio at the expense of portability. All of the speakers are available in Black or White, but you may have to shop around to find the color you’re after.
You can find links for each of the speakers below at the various different retailers. Let us know if you’re thinking of picking one up in comments.
