Android 4.1 Jelly Bean rolling out now for the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity

Though it has taken a while, the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 is getting updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The update started rolling out today, so if you haven’t seen it yet, you should soon.

Last week we heard that the ASUS Transformer Prime and the Transformer Pad Infinity would be updated that week. While it was true for the Prime, the update for the Infinity Pad was delayed. Luckily, today it is finally beginning to roll out.

When we reviewed the ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity back in July, we thought it was a contender for one of the best tablets we’d seen yet. With the Infinity getting an update to Jelly Bean, it’s about to get even better. With Jelly Bean’s improved performance and elegant visuals, the Transformer Pad Infinity’s should feel even faster than it already did.

If you haven’t been automatically notified of an update yet, it might be worth manually checking for an update by going to “Settings” > “About Tablet” > “Check For Updates.” It could be waiting for you as you read this.

Have you gotten the Jelly Bean update for your ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity yet? How are you liking it so far? Let us know in the comments below.
