Android 4.0 ICS update coming to AT&T Galaxy Note today

Since it was first teased back in April, the Android 4.0. Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy Note has been rolled out in South Korea, European countries and other regions. U.S. Galaxy Note owners will finally get to join the elite 10% of Android users who run ICS on their devices, as the ICS update will be rolled out on July 10, which happens to be today. Hey, at least you’re getting it ahead of the folks in Canada.

Along with the cold dessert delight, the software update for the Galaxy Note is packed with a premium suite. So not only will you be getting features one expects to see from ICS — namely Face Unlock, multitasking menu, data usage tracker, etc — you’ll also find a slew of new S Pen optimized apps and enhanced multimedia features, such as the new S Note, S Memo and My Story.

The Verge has posted some hands-on pictures of the Galaxy Note running ICS and the premium suite. Noteworthy additions include a shape match feature, and a formula match function.
