It’s like a slightly more complicated version of Family Feud. It contains hundreds of questions, plenty of levels, and the developers seem to be updating the game fairly frequently with new content. It’s not perfect, but it’s fun for a least a while which is great, considering that the game is free.

Draw Something is a fun little game where you must draw pictures and then your friend has to guess what it is. It comes with various color palettes to help you draw more detailed pictures and power ups to help you guess the image better. You can connect using Facebook or Twitter and find opponents that way or you can play against random people. Rounds generally don’t take more than a few minutes, which makes this a great time killer.

The Jackbox Party Pack 1 and The Jackbox Party Pack 2

Your first reaction may be complete disinterest because these two trivia games run you $50 combined. However, each pack comes with about five games each and gives you a total of ten games. Included are some excellent trivia games and quiz games, including You Don’t Know Jack, Fibbage, Quiplash, Drawful, Lie Swatter, and others. Each game can be played locally with up to eight players, although Lie Swatter can be played with up to 100. It also comes with Android TV support and each smartphone device simply has to connect to a website to get started. The games are very goofy and if you don’t mind the cost, can be a lot of fun. Logo Game is one of the few free quiz games available on Android. This one is a simple guessing game where you see a logo and then you have to guess the brand. It includes over 2100 globally recognized brands, 69 levels, and the difficulty increases the longer you play. It also comes with Google Play Games services, including achievements and leaderboards. It’s surprisingly large for a completely free game and a great option if you don’t want to fork out any money.

Pictoword

Pictoword is a family friend trivia game where you are given two images and you must guess the answer based on what you see. Some of the questions are a little easy but it can get challenging occasionally. If you not, you have the option of purchasing more difficult images to really test your brain skills. It also includes a game mode where you can unscramble words, guess logos, and more. The game uses a coin system to unlock content which can be earned in game which is kind of a nice way to do it.

Quizoid is a one of a few up-and-coming trivia games that has a ton of content. The free version of the game includes two game modes, over 6000 questions, various hints, offline play, and the developer updates the game frequently with new questions. If you decide to go the paid route, you’ll get an additional 3000 questions, two more game modes, and more hints. Both versions work pretty well, are easy to play, and are worth your time.

QuizUp saw some popularity when it went viral back in 2014 and it’s since remained a great quiz game for lovers of trivia. The game features online player vs player interactions where you get more points for answering the question more quickly. The winner at the end of the round is determined by how many points they’ve earned. There are a ton of categories with more being added all the time along with special edition categories based on current events. This or That

This or That is a comedy-based game where you must choose between one absurd scenario or another. If you’re guess is what the majority guessed, then you win. It’s a relatively simple game that focuses more on getting laughs than actual challenge. It’s a perfectly fun way to waste a few minutes, but we can’t imagine this one becoming a mainstay in someone’s gaming rotation. New questions are added on a frequent basis and you can create your own questions if you want to. It’s a lot of fun, but it is geared toward mature audiences. That’s not bad, but we wouldn’t recommend this for kids.

Trivia Crack

Trivia Crack is one of the most popular trivial games of all time. It spent a good deal of 2015 at the top of various Google Play charts and comes jam packed with content. There are hundreds of thousands of questions presented in over 20 languages and you can create your own questions. Much like QuizUp, it’s online based and you can challenge your friends or randoms on the Internet. The only caveat is that even the paid version of the game has in-app purchases which isn’t preferable. The game is still fun, though.

What If

What If is similar to This or That. You are given a scenario and you must state whether or not you’re okay with that situation. Once you answer the question, you’ll be able to see how the majority voted and you’ll see if you’re part of the general consensus or one of the naysayers. It comes with over 100,000 questions and you can create your own if you get bored. The developers also include new questions all the time.
